The shield is actually a good idea, but make the damage be 0-10 as a chance. The reason i say make the damage 0-10 is that is lightning always at its max voltage or
always hits a target with health? Apparently, no. But then, it could be a permanent again.

Well... 10 damage each time is a way too Overpowered! For 5 I think... Anyways nice idea, but you should reduce damage or give it more cost

I like the shield idea. I think i will implement that. But I want to keep the damage the same. If it's less, it will be less of a deterrent as less damage is almost unnoticeable. The casting cost will go up though, Probably to 6-7.

I'm wondering if the soft PA should be the only thing this shield provides.  What about making it reflect spells too?  The high cost and lack of protection against creatures would justify that, and it makes sense conceptually.

Oh, it will have protection from creatures, probably a simple -1 from all damage sources, -2 upgraded.
