I know it's meant to counter PC, but it also actually forms a combo with Explosion ...

Precisely. I like cards that can be offensive and defensive. And it does help counter PC, it's just not a hard counter.

Also, is stealing count as destroy? If it has effects, what happen if you steal your own permanent?

Are you sure it's 'destroyed'? Or does it just 'disappear'?

I actually think the theme is fine, but it seems like this would make Mono- even more irritating to play against. It's a good idea because we need more cards that can counter PC, but I'd prefer it if this was given to a different element. Maybe turn it into a poisonous barb barrier and make it a card that adds a few poison counters instead of just flat out damage?

Yeah, I am iffy with putting it in Aether. But if Zanz likes it he can put it anywhere he wants. I just wanted things to thematically fit and Lightning came to mind first.
