I'd say a very overpowered and way too targeted. An Earth deck would have no disadvantage from this whereas it would be hugely detrimental against water. Similar cards would need to to be made for every element for this to be considered. perhaps it could be an instant effect rather than a perm?

Ok so maybe this card has a contradiction in Flood? Similar card but for Water to use against Earth. Just an idea.

I like the concept but would have to look deeper into the balance and why it works.

Just a quick note you have suffer 1/0 penalty. Is that -1|-0 just to clarify.

For an instant it could be of better use. If a permanent you would need to have it  :earth activable or similar.

Thanks for the work I look forward ot seeing more of these from you Pirate King.

Nice work though sorry for being picky...

Keep up the good work. Your card idea is sound just needs some fleshing out around the forum.

Thanks

ajm well there would not need to be a similar card because well just darkness has nightfall/eclipse so it would not seem to be that different of a situation

It's not the penalty I find unfair it is the targeting specifically toward water. If this card were generalized and perhaps made into an instant with the cost lowered I think it would make an excellent addition to the  :earth element which currently has no way of attacking either the opponents creatures or the opponent directly.

Basilisk Blood= 6 turn freeze, And since earth has no direct creature damage, the +0/+20 is fine so long as you can do it again
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

Perhaps I should have been more clear in my original post. When I said it was overpowered I was referring to against water decks. This would be overpowered in that situation slowing the opponent and speeding earth (which already runs very fast, the only exception to this I can think of is if your opponent played trident or Poseidon). However, against say a fire deck it is nearly useless the same effect could be achieved for free with two earth pillars. Again I think generalization of this card would be great for diversifying the  :earth element, just needs a bit of tweaking.

@terroking point taken my mistake

but it would only be effective against one element so they would be handicapping themselves so it would only be helpful if they knew what their opponent was

... water isn't a commenly used element atm, so this card wouldn't be very effective
