Disciple/Savant of Water - Disciple Series https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=5277.msg53078#msg53078

I was looking at water cards for inspiration and I realized that water is the most splashed element in the game.
It both gets along and is dependent on other elements for the most part.
I focused on that information and thought of some ideas.

This was my final idea.

It's hard to balance it, so.. sorry if I gave you headaches I guess.

I lke the idea, how the disciple of water allows it to use a mono deck wih much more potential, at the same time it makes hard to use in rainbow. But I think, the card right now is on one hand not fair, cause it would give mono water a huge advantage against all the other mono decks. On the other hand, lots of card would kind of loose their purpose and existing deck build would be killed.

This card would strenghten the mono deck, but it would not only be useless in the rainbow, it would also kill many duo or trio deck made with water. This is what i don't like...

The changed cards would be: Mind flayer, Chryasora, Toadfish (unupgraded) and Trident

Of course, it would take time to play a card and also play a disciple of water, but in a mono water, this would take about 2-3 rounds, after that you could qunint fairly cheap and destroy the towers of the opponent with trident, seems quiet strong to me.

So, would 6 of these drain 6 quanta for each element? seems OP to me... this plus fractal... should maybe work more like the pest and drain 1 random quantum...

The Savant drains your quanta, playing six of this is useless.

if you didn't have quantums to drain (ie it seems to drain all quantum) would it die?

seems like a good idea however mono chysora = ugh

not to mention how easy it would be to play trident

I don't think it should die.
that's only possible in rainbow decks, and this one has enough deterrents for that deck.

I think duo decks would still be possible with this one, but its strength is supposed to be mono.
