Its supposed to be that you can choose to use catapult if you want to make it your main strategy, or you can just have it as a creature and have it do damage.

This looks very expensive to me.

Seems pretty clearly built with a rail gun deck in mind, which is certainly fun, but its awefully expensive to get rolling.

Given that I only get 5 damage out of using one of the stones with its own ability, there is really no reason not to just fire them from a catapult or trebuche, which would yield the full 15 damage instead.

I think it would be funny if you made the levitating stones airbore with the ability to lose airborne and gain "accelerate" or "overdrive" in exchange :D

Indeed, the idea is good, but the prices are off. One advantage of levitating stones being self-catas (though doing less damage) is protection from PC (now the weakness is lobo).

Another fun option would be to allow the levitator itself to sacrifice a stone for damage.
E.g. you could add "or sacrifice a stone to deal damage equal to its HP/3"

Which would again allow for catapulting stones while at the same time freeing up the stones to gain an active skill themselves.

Now, instead of choosing between damage or less damage, you choose between PC and damage!
(it still has high HP for catapulting)

Oh, and Treldon: The stones have been enchanted by the Levitator. Their just awesome that way! :D

Comparing the stones to SoFo is interesting. They are less reliable and have no BH just for giggles, but they are harder to kill and faster to catapult. The costs per stone are more or less the same.

Also, someone needs to make a creature that gives GP to one of your creatures, that would be a strong combo.

In my opinion, the stones should be able also to destroy weapons and shields as long as they aren't invulnerable. Just think of an opponent with 4 pillars and a weapon... the chance to target the weapon is already only 20%, decreased by the fact that the stones can fail without hitting anything. Thinking about the huge cost of the Levitator, it shouldn't be OP at all. All in all, I really like the mechanic as it is now.

Minor thing: the description of the upped stone says "Sacrifice Levitating Stone", but it's name is "Weightless Stone".
