I kinda like the idea, but at the moment they seem a bit difficult to get out.  Howsabout a spell that turns your dragon into its Legendary version?  I suppose you could be limited to only 1 or 2 of that spell in a deck or something.

Coinch, awesome idea.

Dragonforce: Spell (8 Any quanta)
Gives a target dragon an ability based on its element.

The abilities are as I said.

When you play the Dragonforce card, it should also play this:

This one should play only when Rupee Dragon is Dragonforced. Otherwise, some other.

The name sounds good for the Amethyst Dragon, and maybe some other.

Anyways.

Instead of Dragonforce you could just have Dragon Egg which would hatch into a random dragon.

In reference to bobcamel's suggestions on dragon abilities, I'm not a big fan of re-using abilities from creatures that are already in the game and giving them to the dragons cause... that's boring.  However, I do apprieciate you posting your ideas bobcamel, thanks.

Your Jade Dragon is super overpowered, destroy shields and deal damage for each creature?  What about when you have a full board of creatures, that is like 23 damage!  Maybe just destroy shields.

I did like the redistribute on the Obsidian Dragon, but wouldn't a sacrafice creature to gain their stats ability work better on the Ivory Dragon as a death abiltiy?  I'm thinking like it would absorb the bones to make itself bigger, which would have synergy with Boneyard and Bonewall.

As far as the dragons in the original post are concerned:
Amethyst Dragon - OKIvory Dragon - possibly change to bobcamel's redistribute idea?Massive Dragon - which is better +1/+0 per turn <or> +1/+1 per successful attack?Basalt Dragon - need more ideas, something earthyJade Dragon - maybe 2x green: destroy target shield Ruby Dragon - underpowered?Arctic Dragon - nerf abilty to cost 3x death quanta?Light Dragon - OKSky Dragon - maybe +1/+1 for each Firefly?Silurian Dragon - nerf abilty to cost 3x death quanta?Obsidian Dragon - need more ideas, something darknessyElder Phase Dragon - OK

What I'd like are unique dragonlike abilities that fit the theme of their element... eg. a firebreathing abilty for a red dragon.  Abilities must be fairly simple because you have to be able to fit the text on the actual card.[/list]

Since mono fire decks are often quanta stackers (think to fire lance and Fahrenheit) Rupee Dragon could have some ability related with quanta... dunno... maybe "+1/+1 if you own more than 50 fire quanta" (just an example)

No, I think Ivory Dragon should have both Scavenger and some damaging ability. Redistribute is darknessy.

Rupee Dragon could have "Deal 1 damage to a random enemy creature, repeat per each 20 Fire quanta you have."

Ruby drag-fire breath: 3 fire quanta, deal 1 damage to target for every 10(20?) fire quantums in your possesion.

massive dragon-get +1/+0 per turn, giving it more life doesn't really serve any purpose.

ivory drag: kill target creature if it has less hp? with scavenger? probably just a huge oty, but death should have an actually killing move in some way.

for both silurian and arctic, giving them death abilities doesn't seem right, they should be more mono, arctic freezing and siliurian getting +2/30% of +4 sounds reasonable, providing it costs 3 quanta and +2 is permamnent.

sky should have the massive dive thing, or a nerfed attack and dive, either or.

jade's seem a little useless unless it could take out an entire bonewall
