Do Mass CC spells like Rain of Fire cause the "jumping effect" to happen?
Updated:
Leaping Spider cant escape from Mass CC spells including Rain of Fire and Pandemonium,
it just does not make any sense to be able to escape.
Actually, it doesn't make sense to be able to escape from Rain of Fire and Thunderstorm, because they would cover the whole AREA. Pandemonium on the other hand is more a spell targeting EVERY creature, as each CREATURE suffers different effects, so in theory the spider would be able to dodge its individual attack.
Not saying it should, just that it could make sense.
I think they have updated Rain of fire and Thunderstorm to target every creature also.
What is the purpose of the spell still hitting the field slot the spider had jumped from?
for future cards with possible field changing effects
and for thematics as Leaping Spider only leaps away
from the target spell but not removing the target spell.

For mass cc spell,
Rain of Fire will target Leaping Spider
Leaping Spider will leaps to the left or right spot.
After leaping, Leaping Spider will be treated as a new creature
and will be targeted by Rain of Fire again,
repeating this process repeatedly until,
Leaping Spider goes back to a spot where Rain of Fire had already targeted,
and Leaping Spider will be damaged by the Rain of Fire.
