I see.

If you do that, don't up the stats - this is a powerful ability we are talking about here.

So like for the upgraded, have its stats 2|1 but it converts 2 :life per turn....

Cool simple creature with nice concept. Can wreck mark quanta deck dependant deck and has a speceifc strategy. Would be medium cost quanta generator for life. Nice art too.

My real-life sucks. So i come online to compensate that.

IMHO there should be no mysterious transformation of quanta. While it's fine for devourers (they eat any quanta to output black quanta) to do something like this, the crow/raven simply steals (shiny things). Therefor he should return the quantum in whatever element it originally was. Though, I don't really know how usefull this card is then... :/

Also I'm not really comfortable to "tack on" some elementalish name to put the creature into some direction... That's lame. And as such, the crow/raven is more a creature of darkness (especially with the stealing shiny things trick). But I doubt darkness needs more steals... though maybe..

What if the creature would be darkness, stealing the opponents quanta aslong as it's not dark too (for it's not shiny) plus no quanta-element-transformation?

That's a very good idea that can be considered. It would be interesting to see it as a darkness creature as it's name, ability and even creature colour is darkness like. I think non-quanta transformation would make it suit darkness for stealing permanents like weapons to use it's ability if it matches opponents mark.

It will steal quanta 2 times each turn. Similar to devourers and scorpions.

There are a few abilities that aren’t triggered with every attack by a creature with adrenaline.  Devour (draining quanta) and venom (poisoning opponent) are two such abilities.  This is strictly to keep those card combinations from being overpowered.

I must admit that I do not see how the effect would be appropriate in Life.
What part of life's theme includes mechanical theft? Theft fits darkness very well but I do not see it as appropriate in Life. The elements are separate for a reason and even overlaps like poison have reasons stemming from thematics.
(Life is growth, Death uses decay. Spine Carapace and Venom are growing infection/poison, Infection/poison is decay.)
