Hmm, while all the rest of your recently posted cards a innovative and fairly balances, this one fail a bit on the latter. For 3 darkness, which can be played in the first or second round, this cards steals 1+1N quanta and hp/round? Talk about denial and vampirism in one shell. I suggest a cap on how much quanta (pair this with some pests and a eclipse to get a very powerful mono-denial deck) and hp this can drain. Getting a few of these out pretty much forces the enemy to have very good permanent control (like fire) or be rainbow (mono can't run away from that drain) or rush before they can "grow". Then again, that's quite a few counters... But still.

Max at 5 perhaps? (random number)

Its slower and weaker than Black hole engines but has potential to wipe out the opponent if you can out stall.
It does not have the immediate lockdown like Fractal Pest Does. It should go well to build an Anti-control Control deck, but it will still fail to rush.

Eh, stacking leech is way too powerful, especially if it's hard to get rid of (Obfuscate). Much too strong.
That said, I enjoyed playing Black in MTG and leeching slowly from my opponent. Can't make it passively hard to get rid of though; not for that low cost.

Slower and weaker against rainbow only. I don't much like a non-weapon permanent doing more damage than weapons, as well as healing and stealing quanta. Plus protection from obfuscate...

Concept is really cool though.

Looks like a card that 'if you don't deal with it during the first 4-5 turns of the battle, you lose'.

I guess a deck like this:

6 Subversion
6 Pest
2 Improved Dusk
2 Vampire Dagger
14 Darkness Tower
:darknessmark

Would lock anything but immolation decks and even those would have a hard time against healing, draining and dusk shields.
May the force of the D4HK side be with U ^_^

I'd give this an upkeep to balance it.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

Seems people think its a bit fast for the environment, locking down too early.
I'll evaluate the suggestions and decide on how I will handbrake it so it is not denying so much in the early game.
