Another in a long line of cards aimed at expanding possible uses for weapon cards.

This card basically lets you play 1 new weapon (per copy of this card in play) every turn.

When the weapon is played, it automatically attacks a random target. This could be a creature or player (including the weapons owner… juggling knives is dangerous!)

Any weapon that was there before will be placed in your hand the following turn. If there is no room, it is simply lost (it would have been anyway without this card).

If this card is destroyed before the replaced weapon gets returned, the weapon is lost.

A returning weapon will be placed in its owner's hand after the draw phase.

Animating a weapon or copying an animated weapon will not trigger this effect. The effect only triggers when a card enters the weapon slot.

Could the attacks miss due to factors such as shields? Or are they treated as though Momentum'd? I'm assuming Quinted creatures are safe.

Also, would casting Flying Weapon be treated as 'playing' a weapon?

I'm gonna go with after, since that keeps it from draw locking the player. Otherwise it could be abused as an anti-deckout... unless that seems like a good idea... but its not the main goal of the card.

Yes, quinted creatures are safe as usual. I'm going to go with having it be a standard physical attack, no momentum (except titan of course). So shields interact as if the weapon just attacked the player. I.e. fog and phase shield will provide a miss chance.
Animating a weapon won't count since that just transfers the weapon from one place to another on the field.

Hmmm... I was aiming at the connection between air and agility / nimblness ... which is required for juggling. (E.g. SoFr makes your creatures more agile, allowing them to dodge attacks and scoot around shields)

I'm up for suggestions though.

Turn start occurs before draw, as evidenced by the trainer's "chaos mode". For this card, however, that should not be the case.

You mentioned that titan would ignore shields, does this mean that the other non-activated effects also activate (like vampire, vemon, scrabble [only if it hits a player], regenerate, and fiery)? Also, if the returned weapon doesn't have a slot to go back into, is the card considered permanently lost? (I would assume so, but maybe have it pop back into your hand the first time after a draw phase that it can.)

I've been rolling that around in my head since I started making it and still haven't really decided for sure. I think it would definitely be a nice counter-ballance if this card is OP currently, but I've been waiting for a little more balancing feedback first.

Juggling seemed to be the best thing I could think of to match this mechanic idea. Its fairly accurate since you are effectively cycling through a bunch of different weapons constantly.
