TEXT:
Kitsune generates a tail every turn until it reaches 9
Kitsune becomes more powerful with each new tail
ART:
Virilien
IDEA:
rowcla
NOTES:
Kitsune becomes a different unupgraded creature with every tail, the creature is determined by the amount of tails, the higher the cost, the more tails needed
So basically, Kitsune can become a creature which cost 1 more than the amount of tails.
Kitsune starts on 0 tails then gains one at the end of the turn which turns it into another creature
Kitsunes skill is passive and does not replace other passive skills
Nine tail foxes are known for their ability to turn into humans and how they gain more strength as they grow more tails, thus the abilities

I suggest putting the name in text of the passive skill.

I suggest something like this.
Tails: Generate 1 tail per turn up to 9. 1-8 Kitsune gains +1|+1. The 9th Kitsune gains Immaterial.
Tail Defense.

Notes: Tail Defense: Kitsune  looses 1 tail per damage source.

Why is it :aether? The idea of a Kitsune doesn't really bring :aether and immateriality to mind.

Although i dont know much about Japanese Folk lore, ive always thought that Kitsune where spiritual creatures who had an indefinitely long lifespan, thus  :aether

I suggest putting the name in text of the passive skill.

Tails: Generate 1 tail per turn up to 9. 1-8 Kitsune gains +1|+1. The 9th Kitsune gains Immaterial.
Tail Defense.

Notes: Tail Defense: Kitsune  looses 1 tail per damage source.
Making the first skill a passive is a good idea, Ill get to that later, as for the other suggestion, thats a complete rework, Id rather not do that as id like to keep to their shapeshifting nature...

Im not a big fan of the shape shifting. I think if you are going to make that the highlight of this card then you should move it to entropy. Otherwise I like Emerald tigers interpretation of improved damage and health/defense till it reaches immaterial.

Id like to keep it in aether, personally I think it fits more as an aether card, and again Id like to keep it as an shapeshifter...

May I ask what you dislike about the mechanic?

as you said, the nine tailed fox is known for being able to turn into humans. not necessarily other random creatures. Relatedly, we already have cards that turn creatures into others creatures, like mutation. Thats the only reason i see your card as entropy as it is currently. otherwise i have no problem with it being in aether.

Kitsune's effect is much less random than mutation, making it much less of an entropy effect, furthermore, cards do not always have to have abilities that match there theme exactly, Schrodingers cat for example, does not

the art is incredibly epic and I love it. the mechanic however isn't very tight and nobody would use this card to make a good deck as it relies on uncertain probabilities etc. Make the mechanic something more solid and useful for pvp style decks and keep the art.

The effect is pretty solid, considering how powerful aethers stall is you can easily get several dragons by fractalling this, and you can use abilities of other creatures if you make it a rainbow, and chances are, youll get some powerful creatures anyway...
