I immediately thought "Light" when I read Karma. But perhaps: "Bad Karma" equals Darkness?

If we're talking thematically, this spell is somewhat similar to a Jade Shield, in that it's "reflecting" damage.

I like the idea...but what happens if the card is stolen/destroyed? If I nab Karma off of you two turns in, does any damage follow the card, so I can use it against you? If it's destroyed, is the damage released before it's time or does it just go pfft?

Just wondering.

The major thematic problem, since I agree with OldTrees, is that karma would appear to fit both light and darkness... That said, I have an idea:

2 Cards, 1 named Positive Karma which heals you for half the damage taken.
               1 named Negative Karma which damages him for half the damage taken.

Do you like this perspective?

Yeah I like this much more.  I'm just about ready to give up on this card, I don't even like it anymore :P but if you want to go for it then have a blast.  Just add me as one of the card creators.
