I think this can be safely compared to Zblader's Hydra, in terms of the two-part creature
It is the greatest mystery of all...

Jellyfish can't survive without tentacles but tentacles can survive without jellyfish ?_?
It's tentacles are its defense. It would die if it had no defense.
Jellyfish dies without defense. Tentacles don't die without a brain or being connected to something. Logic!
Blood vessels, nerves, stability from JF.

I know, but is it still connected to the original Jellyfish? Is it now just a normal creature?
What about mitosis, etc.?
Mitosis generates a normal card unlinked to any JF. RT does the same thing. TU adds another tentacle randomly, of course unlinked.

You're thinking of an octopus or squid tentacle. A jellyfish tentacle is basically just string filled with electricity. It does not live.

Jellyfish tentacle is filled with... Well, jelly. But not electricity. That's Spongebob's jellyfish.
No jellyfish can sting you using electric shock. They do, however, sting you using poisonous sting called nematocyst.
Now back to the topic.

Yep ... sort of a cellular harpoon like poison injector... I think that is the idea with chrysaora, which is a type of jellyfish.
