equal opportunity is fairness in my opinion.
Sweet.  When they add the opportunity to shoot and kill someone without repercussions to the lotto, I'll demonstrate on whatever senator promoted that idea as "equal opportunity=fairness" just how fair exceptional powers are.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

It's a good thing I was only referring to card games, huh? Just in case you missed it though:

equal opportunity being fair in relation to card games.
It's in the last paragraph of my reply to Jmizzle. Enjoy.

What happens when you see someone beside you (a random stranger) win a $200 million jackpot?

a) Congratulate them on their success
b) Meh, dont care
c) Curse them under your breath
d) rob them of their ticket
e) kill that person and take the winning lotto ticket so that he wouldn't have a chance to tell the police

A and B. I would probably feel obligated to congratulate them is why. But I guess it also depends on the setting and how they react to discovering they won. If they go crazy I'd probably go sit somewhere else... I'd still be indifferent though. Another alternative (assuming it's a guy), would be to congratulate him by saying "Congratulations, you lucky bastard!" with a smile and body language that says my calling him a bastard was in jest. I'd have no need to curse them under my breath because them winning the lottery has nothing to do with me. Maybe if the money he got was mine though, I might curse him lol... D and E aren't options for me. Not D because it's immoral/unlawful, and not E because I believe no one should have to die. Unfortunately, I'm not yet old enough to use my skills as a demagog to become the universally accepted ruler of the world, but when that day comes, peace and harmony shall spread across the earth, and all of you will be ten times happier than you have ever been. This is really because I'll disperse a chemical across the earth that has the same effects as a popular illegal substance (I can't remember if discussing drugs is against the rules, so I'll keep it vague). Anyway, everyone will be happy. And what's wrong with that? :-p
