I see momentum would make it stop attacking creatures.
You mention with psions that they would lose spell damage, but you could still have a creature with this + quint + SoW that does spell damage.
Also, what happens if mad creature has a negative attack?
Do those two cases also act like the momentum case?
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?

It's already written:

Antimattered creatures heal the target.

And a mad creature with spell damage, even if it's hard to obtain, it would be not a problem; it would randomly deal spell damage, to the owner or to the opponent or to a random creature in play.

Mirror shields would work as usual...

note that spell damage also ignores gravity pull;
it's weird to have spell damage be able to target creatures while momentum can't.
be quick- time is quanta.

Well, you can hit creatures with spells.

 I'd totally use this in a pandadoll deck to speed up the damage my dolls are taking.
Every time a graboid evolves, an elemental gets his wings.
