NOTES:
Does not remove poison counters already on the target.
Can target players.
Prevents poison from all sources, including Thorn Carapace, Poisonous passive, Scorpion on-hit, etc.
Playing cards while under the effects of Neurotoxin will not increase the poison counter if inoculated.
May not be removed via Lobotomize.
SERIES:

I also considered both Life and Water for this card, though it seemed to fit Light's theme of ignoring stuff better.  Open to opinions on this.

Hmm interesting.  The fact that it heals is the only reason I can see using it.  The poison is a nice add on, but too situational for me.

Just one question; you say it can target players, does that mean that if the player loses all HP (s)he will regain 10 hp?

No, the 10 healing is only upon creature death.

Some interesting uses of this card:
- Inoculate your Otyugh to eat something poisonous
- Armangel decks get better stalling and become able to respond to poison decks
- Various kinds of stall decks can use this for a "soft quint" and backup plan versus poison
- Immolation decks can use this for burst healing, protecting fragile rush creatures, counter to Thorn Carapace, etc

Bottom line, this card is theoretically as flexible as Purify, and works on creatures.

EDIT: What do you think of making this a permanent that protects all friendly creatures AND the player against poison for 3 turns?  That would allow it to guard quinted creatures, and the effect becomes a little less situational, but creatures won't grant the 10 HP if they're killed after the 3 turns are up.

I like the current version.

A question about the mechanics: it you are afflicted by neurotoxin, and then then you inoculate yourself, you would keep the poison, but for 5 turns, playing cards would not increase the counter?

I personally think that creatures should be permanently inoculated, and that the 5 turns would only apply to a player.

However, that last bit I don't feel that strongly about, and I do think the current version is fine.

Seems very balanced, as Heal is 2 :life for 20 HP, where this (on sparks) is 1 :light/ :rainbow for 10 HP

Correct.  I'll add this to the notes since it's kind of a unique case.

Is anyone in favor of making this a field-wide permanent?  It would be far less situational and wouldn't require support for temporary creature buffs.  I'm trying to get this ready for Crucible, so I want to answer this major question first.

Well, don't I feel silly.  I had a URL, was going to post it but since it tripped my antivirus I thought better of it, but didn't save it on my computer anywhere, and now I can't remember which Google search led me to it!

It's pretty late, I'll get back to you about this.  Maybe I'll just have to find another image.

How would this work with Voodoo Doll? If a Voodoo Doll was poisoned with "Inoculation" would that still be passed onto the opponent?
