Yes, but I'm more worried that if you run it in a rainbow it gives you an edge against mono-decks (your creatures are likely to get a buff, while your opponent ones are likely to get a debuff).

Ah!  I see.  Add in this...

with most everyone running Bows

...and suddenly the incentive to run a mono deck goes down the tubes.

Actually, I say otherwise.  When was the last time you saw a Bow WITHOUT Graboid?  Almost all standard Bows share most creatures, meaning that despite the diversity of creatures in a deck, when contrasted to other decks, they lack the luster.

So, if I understand you correctly, the current proliferation of Bows + a card that is designed to make mono decks useless (more or less) has no effect on the willingness of players to field mono decks against opponents with unknown decks.  As evidence, you offer the fact that current Bows duplicate most of their creatures between them.

Okay, scratch the "if I understand you correctly" part.  Obviously I don't, because what I just wrote makes no sense.  Clearly, you're not saying that.  Would you mind restating your point, please, so this Village Idiot can wrap his brain around what you're telling him?  I would appreciate it.

How about making this affect your creatures only, but it is still affected by what creatures your opponent plays? It wouldn't make your opponent deck weaker and would make creative rainbows (or Sosebows, where you don't know what you will get exactly) stronger. It would only remove the incentive of running this card in a mono life this way. PU would be a soft counter against it and I think this could be interesting in a deck that uses mitosis + fate egg + SoR.
Every time a graboid evolves, an elemental gets his wings.
