i don't think this is OP at all.

the cost of the ability more than compensates for the small cost to play it.

look at forest spectre for example

forest spectre
total damage done after (x) turns (1)2 (2)6 (3)12 (4)20 (5)30 (6)42 (7)56
total quantum paid after (x) turns (1)3 (2)4 (3)5   (4)6   (5)7   (6)8   (7)9

inanimate giant
total damage done after (x) turns (1)8 (2)16 (3)24 (4)32 (5)40 (6)48 (7)56
total quantum paid after (x) turns (1)3 (2)5   (3)7   (4)9   (5)11 (6)13 (7)15

as you can see after 7 turns they've both done the same amount of damage, but for inanimate giant you had both a larger initial cost, and a larger cost over time. after turn seven spectre is a 14|15 creature while giant remains an 8|6 and still must pay the cost to attack while spectre can continue to outclass the giant without paying any more quantum.
Actually, that's what I thought when I first suggested a 3 :earth cost. Thanks for doing the math.  ;D. So, you guys think it's better to have the cost as 3 :earth / 2 :earth?

Thankyou casthegamer for the maths, seems like it balances well at that figure but a few things to take into consideration:

An Earth/Aether deck:
Inanimate Giant + Lobotimiser + Quint = 2 :earth + 3 :aether for the capability and the Quint makes it immune but you don't even need that when the Hp is 6. I suppose therein lies the problem for me. This creature is just too hard to kill. A forest spectre I can take out during its 1st, 2nd and 3rd turn for the same cost as taking out one of these. Thats my main quandry is how much Hp it has versus it's cost.

For a Life creature it might work bring that cost as thats the only one that spams high hitting creatures for low cost. But few of them have 6 Hp (actually the highest is 5 Hp)

Plus I never said it was OP just that it tended towards that end so needed some fine balancing.

I think if you made it 1 :life to use the ability it would cost too little and be able to be spammed too easily if the cost of putting him out was only 2 or 3. I think their is a compromise there and thats the reason for trying to find it. 5 and 6 may be too high as a cost but what about 4(unupped) and 3 (upped) leaving the ability at 2 :life

Just some more thoughts on it.

Yeah the passive ability gets lobed as well, making this creature a good target for your own lob.

So,maybe, if I make the Hp like, 4, it would be more balanced, as it would be relatively easy to kill.

If you were to lower the cost yes 4 would be about right, if leaving the cost at 6 then 6 hp is fine if bringing the cost to 3 or lower then 3 Hp would proably be better.

It is a great card and has many uses so that's why we talk so much about it's abilities.

Thanks

Ok. 3 Hp then. I think it'll be better.

-Updated the card with the new HP-

Graboid= 3 :earth then next turn 1 :time and 8/3 atack every turn.
Elite Graboid= 3 :earth next turn 1 :time and 10/4 atack every turn.
I say this Golem is underpowered.
