When I say light, what do you think?

Do you think about religious type cards like miracle, blessing, and angels?

Cause I don't.  I think lasers.

So here we have my big dump of cards to make light better.  I realize all of them suck, but the point isn't to get them implemented, it's to change the way you think.

Magnifying Glass (free)
 :light Focus: You gain one fire quantum.  This can be used multiple times per turn.

Magni the Mirror Mage  :light :light :light :light :light :light

Passive Ability: Mimic.  Magni the Mirror Mage's power and toughness are equal to the power and toughness of the latest creature played.  If no creature is played after Magni the Mirror Mage is played, Magni the Mirror Mage dies.

Mirage  :light :light

Passive Ability: Mirage.  Mirage looks like a golden dragon.

Trip Laser  :light :light :light :light
Shield
The next creature that attacks you dies.

Good cards, however you may want to change the names of Magni the Mirror Mage  and Zondor the Zealous. I have not seen any named card yet, and it would be too wierd having more than one card with an actual name (think having 20 Michael's in a room)

Just to clarify trip laser will leave the field with the creature it destroys. Is this right? Really like the cards improves light in some very interesting ways.

I'm afraid of fake cards. Especially when they have to respond. What happens when a Rain of Fire hits this mirage dragon. If it just dies instantly then it will look like a glitch to the user.

Can't say anything positive. Maybe because it seems like a modern item and I can't relate it back into an elemental thing.

Bad name Again. How about Zealous Angel? Maybe restrict the targets to Death/Darkness creatures or creatures with higher attack?

Hadn't thought of that... maybe when it's hit the first time it switches to looking like a mirage again?

No, don't restrict it.  It's only one damage, making it worse than parasite, so I think that keeps it balanced.  I like the new name though =D

True, but I still think that makes it OP.  Plus it doesn't make sense.  A mirror Spirit isn't immortal in absence of reflection, you just can't see it.

Perhaps the immortality could be removed once it actually copies an opponents attack and toughness. I  think that might be what Kael was going for.

Ooops forgot to Explain this. Like Reflective Shield it cannot be Target - It is a Mirror of Course. This also prevents it from being used for anything else as it cannot attack or gain attack or anything of such. While it has copied it will gain all traits etc of the opposite and lose Immortal unless the opposite is Immortal. This copy effect will be at the end of opponents turn / Start of your turn. Just Laugh at the Idea of a Mirror match where 2 of these are placed face to face.

No, don't restrict it.  It's only one damage, making it worse than parasite, so I think that keeps it balanced.  I like the new name though =D
The Restriction is more to keep it in line. The Parasite has a different Element activator to its cost and the Zealous Angel does not. To balance play control this means add restriction or cost. I'd assume Restriction as Light is Particularly restricted in targeting but has better defensive traits like Dragons being even Attack/Defense higher than normal HP values and Angels with Heal to offset the drawl of things like Thunderstorm, Rain of Fire or Poison. If you wish against Restriction, then activator should be 2 and deployment 4. Imagine when I have 3-4 of these out, I can eliminate any small creature outright whereas Poison gives me a turn to return him to hand, do an extra turn of damage, or Mutate him around poison.

Revealing light was just an idea I put out there.  Perhaps this would be better.
