IDEA:

NOTES:
Strangely, wolves appear often in other card games and games but not in elements.
I created a simple wolf to fill that void.

Rather a bland card with so little ability text, Wolf is actually more useful than it looks thanks to many comboes
other elements cards have to offer.

First and foremost is the Mitosis, comboeing Mitosis with Wolf gives a bigger range of outcomes that players might want,
for example, you can just mitosis 1 :life Wolf and have lots of cheap Wolf and combo with Empathic Bond and become a healing army,
and without changing of decks, if you are forced to deal with an opponent that have shield that reduced damage drastically,
you can still use Wolf's ability Howl and transform them into powerful arsenal.

Second combo is similar to Mitosis, which is Fractal.

totally UP, think about a vanilla shrieker that doesn't require another element for evolve, trading the semi immortality for being not burrowed.

u can't make a 0 (or low cost) card cost because even if the card doesn't "exist", they can be abusable with fractal

something similar to shard golem, that always costs 8  :earth, no matter if is 20/20 or 2/5

yes but what's the point of use fractal on malignant cell and ash? malignant cell in 6 turns (or less, i don't remember) can fill your field, instead of ash is better use fractal on minor phoenix.

also, not only for fractal, but even if the card is targeted by eternity or reserve time.

even singu has a cost of 10  :entropy

Intersting idea, although I like the Alpha wolf card that is in the Armory right now better.

The main reason is that alpha wolf synnergies better with other :life cards, namely numbers.

I actually think it might not be bad to merge the two ideas somewhat. Eg. giving alpha wolf a "howl" ability which would summon its other pack members.

I think that having a literal "pack" of wolves summoned is also more thematically satisfying than converting into a larger single creature.

Even with the stat boost on the pack here I still think it is somewhat UP compared to graboid / lurker combo.

Granted, this can combo with fractals, but that would require a hefty duel element combo. Moreover, the wolf itself is so weak that such a combo would still be highly susceptible to mass CC... even more than the alpha wolf combo.
The reason for that is that the current alpha wolf combo would guarantee you to get at least one attack at full force before the opponent can retaliate, whereas this version, the 1 turn wait gives the opponent the chance to fry the threat before it ever matures.

More importantly however, while both cards provide relatively comparable offensive capabilities, alpha wolf has a wonderful synnergy with empathic bond, which makes it extremely valuable.

I think this card has some potential, but it needs some work still.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
