JCJ's post: ‹@vagman13› It seems my Greek mythology is a little rusty. Kings, Heroes, Giants and mythological creatures such as Hydra or Sirens are still disallowed, but TITANS ARE ALLOWED. They were gods before it was cool.

Hydra came up so i decided to make use of it.

Also, when Hydra is killed, just to clarify, it spawns 2 Hydras.
Hydra Boss doesn't spawn itself if you kill it or another creature, but rather 2 more Hydras.

Super op, compare unupped to minor phoenix, dont even get me started about upped.
The uppeds ability works like guard without the delay I guess (and causes all Hydras to pick the same target, Hydra boss not included)?
If you want Hydra to multiply on death in a way that allows a chain reaction, you have to increase cost to at least 5 :life. it synergizes with immolation, dry spell, adrenaline, bloodsucker, gravity pull. Upped definitely needs its passives power reduced unless you want it to cost like 15  :life. I dont get the theme behind turning other creatures into Hydras, i would limit this ability to their own death.
I would change its effect to being identical to unupped, while giving it slightly better stats and the active ability for a minor cost increase.

As it currently is, you can make hydra spawn infinitely many times, while being invulnerable to most forms of CC. If this was restricted in a way, perhaps in reducing the stats of each successive spawn, then it could be balanced better. Of course, you'd still have to make the stats/cost such that they don't completely overshadow horned frog and cockatrice.

Unupped one is essentially an unkillable horned frog that can multiply?

Upped one is a 3 quanta 6|7 *with* extra positive effects!?
