How do I ask for a 'Special Permission'

I would like to make my own art for a card Series I am doing, and I am making clay cups for it. I need permission to use Zanz's symbols for this, otherwise, I can't and will need to scrap my work.

ah, ok. The project is only sorta attached to the game, and I didn't know If I would need permission or not. Some game people are real touchy about thier stuff.
