NOTES:
The "" symbol does NOT denote a new element. Instead, that symbol means that when the card is played, your opponent gains that amount of quanta matching his or her Mark. I am using this symbol because there isn't enough space to put all this text in the card description.

This card is a part of my Void series. Using Void cards give your opponent quanta, while Void Pillars take those quanta away. Both the Pillars and other Void cards can be put into normal decks, or they can be used together in a Mono-Void deck.

Decimal rounding is done normally. In other words, if you have .5 or more, you round up.

Note that the spell "cost" takes place before the spell effect. Thus, if you target the quanta pool matching your opponent's Mark, you give him 12 then halve the total amount.

In a general manner, there is something that deserve a bit a attention: target a specific quanta pool. That would give a new dimension to denial in general and to rainbow in particular. I like it.

Concerning the card itself, I have to say that the cost system you prone makes it difficult for me to consider it as a possible future card of the game and also to judge if it's balanced or not...

This would only be useful against decks which require high amounts of quanta stockpilling(like fire stalls). Common decks wouldnt suffer this so much as they dont keep big amounts of quanta(a rush would never need such huge amounts of quanta). I think is a little weak because of how little situations would make this card fully effective.

If I understood correctly, You don't pay for the card. In fact you give 12 random quanta to your opponent. Does this happen before or after the quanta reducing effect of the spell?

Interesting concept.  This would really hurt OTK decks using Fire Bolt/Ice Bolt and Entropy stalls.  I can also see it extensively abused as a quick quanta source.  Draw it on your opening hand and use it on yourself to gain 6 quick and free quanta of your mark.  Basically any time you have less than 12 quanta use it on yourself for a boost.  It would speed up decks quite a bit, especially Supernova decks.  It might even become possible for a 2 or 3 turn win with this card.  For example, if you are mono :life and you open with 2 Frogs, 2 Adrenaline, and 2 Debilitates you'd be able to play 24 damage on the opening turn (2 adren frogs at 6 :life each).  I'm sure others can think of more dangereous combinations, like maybe 2 Sparks, 2 Immos, 1 Debilitate, 2 Crimson Dragons for 24 damage on the first turn.

Not really sure if this type of use of the card is something you would want based on the "void" premise of denial.

Possibly, but even if you could, your opponent would still get the 12/10 quanta.

Read the first post. I said the spell cost takes place before the effect. It works like that with all spells.

And yes, if you target yourself, the quanta gained through the Void cost goes to your opponent.
