I think this belongs a lot more in Life. Water already has an Advanced Spell (Ice Bolt/Lance), and Life is the true home of healing, anyways. If you really do like the Homeopathic thing, you could do purify counters instead...

So make them Purify counters. That seems the logical way to go.

Purify Counters. Not Counter to Purify. As in, +1 Purify Counter heals you 1 when your enemy attacks, +5 Purify Counters (can be achieved with 2 upped Purifies and 1 unupped Purify, for example) heals you 5, etc.

Not at all, as long as you have no poison counters. It'd be a heal-every-turn. It'll need to be a bit different for the current version and perhaps a cap, though.
