Fine. DIRECTLY influenced by Scaredgirl's brilliant Undead Ninja (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,7127.0.html) - namely, its combo mechanism.

UPDATED:
Changed upgraded name to Griffin.
Combo strike names.
Healing rather than vampirism.
Changed unupgraded picture.

NAME:
Hippogriff
ELEMENT:
:air
COST:
8
TYPE:
Creature
ATK|HP:
6|2
ABILITY:
Combo strikes:
1. Fury: 50% miss chance
2. Heal: +10 HP
3. Dive: double damage
NAME:
Griffin
ELEMENT:
:air
COST:
8
TYPE:
Creature
ATK|HP:
7|2
ABILITY:
Combo strikes:
1. Fury: 50% miss chance
2. Heal: +10 HP
3. Dive: double damage

Adrenaline works normally. For example, if you play Adrenaline on Hippogriff normally, it would be 6+4+2. Hippogriff has a 50% chance of missing its first 6 damage attack. If it does not miss, its 4 damage attack is vampiric. If that hits, its 2 damage attack is doubled to 4. But if Hippogriff did miss its 6 damage attack, the combo resets as it should and the 4 damage attack goes through combo one (the one with the 50% miss chance).

You, the player, are healed, not the creature. This healing happens directly after you attack.

NOTES:
For information of combo strikes, check the Undead Ninja (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,7127.0.html) thread. Essentially, the first combo strike happens on the first turn. If it hits the opponent, the next combo strike is the creature's attack on the next turn. If it doesn't, the combo resets and the Hippogriff starts its next turn at the first combo strike. The same applies for every other combo strike.

Miss percentage stacks multiplicatively. This means that when playing a Hippogriff against a Dusk Mantle, it has a 75% chance to miss. When playing a Hippogriff against a Fog Shield, it has a 70% chance to miss. Hippogriff is still effected by other shield effects if it does not miss.[/list]

I think its too expensive for its cost, a dragon would be more reliable and stronger atk/hp

interesting concept. but the first picture doesnt look like a hippogriff (i'll just assume, that you know that), the vampiric ability indeed seems off.

Why not? Ohh. Yeah. Good point. I'll change it.

Yeah, it does. I'm making it "Heal 10 HP after attack".

Nope. It just does double damage; it's the name of the combo strike.

Also, it shows a Dive animation. ;)

It's quite obvious. Since it's a creature which costs 8 quanta, 8 quanta is too much of a drawback, so this 8 quanta cost creature should only cost 6 quanta, to balance the 8 quanta cost.

I'd say increase hp to maybe 4/5 or even more. I see no reason to make it very vulnerable and griffins are known as tough beasts great in both offense and defense.
May the force of the D4HK side be with U ^_^
