If I were the developer, I would make only one version of these cards. If they used my "Quests" idea, winning that one Hero card would be very difficult, therefore it should be "upgraded" when you win it.

I love the card ideas, but the only complaint I have is the confusion between "characters" and "monsters" or "creatures." Characters makes me think of a player, such as an AI or someone in PvP, or a pixel avatar that someone would use in an online game. Monsters that are summoned are the last things I think of when I hear the word. It's not really confusing me, since I know what you mean, but it's quite annoying when my mind WANTS to read "creature" on the cards, but instead it says "character" and it just doesn't make sense to me. =/

Thats awesome news!

I just wish there was some way to win "mid-game" content slightly easier (IE rare weapons)

Just wanted to throw some props your way Scaredgirl. I'm not sure how much this thread influenced Zanz's decision to create this type of card, but I have to say, congrats on getting that ball rollin!

Ditto. I'm not sure if it was this, or the fact that Magic has Legends, or more likely both, but it's very good news. I can't wait to see what comes out next...since I really haven't been playing much at all. I've pretty much lost my motivation to play since farming for weapons is boring and farming for rares for money to upgrade my PvP deck is pointless since I don't have the rares to make it...*sigh* -.-"

I'm with you there. I wish Z would just release a 3-5 new cards per week before devoting a bunch of programming time to a new mechanic. If there's no new content then people will move on.

Yeah, grinding False Gods has become quite boring because it's too easy and there's not enough reward.

Discussion on this thread has been only about the cards even though a big part of this idea is "Quests". I really hope Zanz adopts this "Quests" idea because I think that's what the game needs to most right now (and a working PvP tournament system). Adding new cards won't do much if there is no content to play.

Best part about "Quests" is that they would be relatively easy to implement.
