I think it'd be really cool if you could add some things:
1. To sort of balance it out, make the hero card a permanent with a countdown timer. Once it reaches zero, you can summon that hero. That way, opponents have warning of the hero and can counter it with a steal, explosion, etc.
-So you won't rage kill yourself when your permanent gets destroyed, make the cost of the permanent card really cheap, and the summon cost super high. An example:
| |
NAME: | Fire Altar
| ELEMENT: |
| COST: | 3
| TYPE: | Permanent
| ATK|HP: | Permanent
| ABILITY: | 20 Summon Bazuul. Takes 5 turns to prepare.
|
|
And it would have a little timer like Sundial and Phase Shield have.
And of course you can bring an enchant artifact to turn it into an unstoppable doomsday clock.
2. Only 1 hero of each element can be out at a time. But there could be a Fire Hero and a Time Hero out at the same time.
-You can have multiple heroes in your deck.
-If there’s already a Time Hero, there can’t be any more Time Heroes.
-This prevents parallel universes and such.
- When 2 opposite element heroes (light-dark, life-death, fire-water) are played, they are both instantly destroyed. So you can counter heroes with other heroes. Look at the Elements Trainer, where you pick your element, to find out what the opposites are.
3. When heroes are summoned, I think they should have an effect, just for awesomeness factor.
Like when you play the Water Hero, all the creatures freeze.
4. Sustenance: All heroes require something to stay on the field. Fire Hero: Absorbs 5
per turn. Death Hero: Kills your weakest creature (ATK+HP) every turn. Etc.
5. I think there should be a contest for the best hero card ideas. Obviously ScaredGirl made most of these up quickly, (she said so), and people should try to make some hero cards. I’ll add some of my own later…
What do you think of the ideas?
