Not sure if this card's going to be that useful since there are pendulums that can easily contribute to a duo deck.

Maybe could be useful in making something like mono Earth Adrenaline or Mitosis deck.

I know it is pretty pointless, just thought I would make a card like this. Was thinking of a series perhaps. I don't know exactly what I was thinking It was like 2 Am for me when I made it. lol.

So is this 10 :earth for 5 :life (unupped) and 8 :earth for 7 :life (upped) or does the cost count for the requirement shown in the text?

If you're interested in keeping it a spell, lower cost to 2 :earth.
You could also try making it a permanent and have the conversion be an ability.

Sorry if it wasn't clear. As it is a spell, the cost = the cost in the text. So it is only 5 for unupped and 4 for upped. Should I change it to be clearer?

the issue would be that both life and earth already have creatures with inherent growth abilities, i had the idea a while ago but scrapped it due to this fact.

Since it's a spell, change it to a straight cost of whatever you want it to be, then have the text read "Gain X :life."  Keep it simple.
