crap, fractal pests would be buffed too, bleh.

alright, new effect idea- improve darkness|death and darkness spells.
drain life buff = +1 healed per tick (tick = number of times the effect is triggered)
liquid shadow buff = no longer poisons but cost x2 the quanta (iffy on this one)
steal buff = 25% chance to have steal added back into your deck
nightmare buff = nightmare becomes free to cast
poison buff = 50% chance to double the poison counters added by spell
plague buff = +1 poison per creature
aflatoxin buff = 10% chance per turn which aflatoxin is on a creature for the aflatoxin to spread to an adjacent creature

or another idea would be to pay a quanta price to generate a random spell from death/darkness

Yeah this sounds like a cool idea until you think of all the 1 :death and 2 :death creatures that would become complete spam.

Maybe it should like increase the cost of non death, non darkness?

has anarkyman been unwilling to allow his art to be used in the past?  i figured id send a note to him prior to submitting to level 1 should this get that far

and like i said in a previous post, yeah, the fit between -1 cost and :death :darkness creatures isnt great, theyre already cheap and prone to fractal abuse, so probably going to switch that up alot.
