alright, new effect idea- improve darkness|death and darkness spells.
drain life buff = +1 healed per tick (tick = number of times the effect is triggered)
liquid shadow buff = no longer poisons but cost x2 the quanta (iffy on this one)
steal buff = 25% chance to have steal added back into your deck
nightmare buff = nightmare becomes free to cast
poison buff = 50% chance to double the poison counters added by spell
plague buff = +1 poison per creature
aflatoxin buff = 10% chance per turn which aflatoxin is on a creature for the aflatoxin to spread to an adjacent creature
or another idea would be to pay a quanta price to generate a random spell from death/darkness
