Some art happened. Anything anyone has to say before I submit it?

Is that a watermelon?

I'm not insulting it, I'm just curious as to what it is. Also, I have no talent for art either, if that makes you feel better.

It was supposed to look like some kid of bolt but ended up looking like a droplet, and the yellow stripes do make it look like a watermelon. Plus it didn't scale down well in the end

Anyone who insults it most likely can't do it themselves.
It's good. I don't create art. I take multiple images and put them together in such a fashion that it creates another art. I believe that's call photo manipulation or at least is to some degree.

Fixed the scaling problem, now it looks much better. Still watermelon-esque, but at a much better resolution.

Scaling... my old arch nemesis... lol.
Ya, a lot of times what looks good as a big image just doesn't quite work the same on a small scale... and sometimes vice-versa.

At any rate, I kinda get the idea you are going for.

It came out a lot better than my attempt at art for my "Cornucopia" card... I went for divine heavenly glow... and ended up with sickly and virulent looking... lol.

If you are willing to dabble in GIMP or photoshop, I find that adding transparancy and glow effects can often help get a bit more of an "energy bolt" look.

Are you opposed to the possibility of having this ported to openEtG by the way? It could be a fun card to test out there.

I don't really dabble with OEtG, but I've no problem with any card idea of mine going in. I guess it means I've done something right then
