Gravity has a theme of using large creatures as meat shields (e.g. armagio and gravity pull).
This card emphasizes this defensive tactic by extending it to a contingency like shield.

While this effect is rather potent, its autonomous and purely defensive nature make it fill a different niche than either gravity pull (which can be used offensively to CC enemy creatures) or armagio (which can be combo'd with accelerate, etc).

The shield functions by automatically applying gravity shield to the creature you own that has the highest HP. This is applied before the damage is applied so, essentially, it redirects physical sources.
Each time it does this, it consumes 1 'gravity well', just like bonewall (or other counter like shields).

Like bonewall, playing a new gravity well / micro gravity well will replace the old one (does not add to it).

If a gpull'd creature is killed during the opponent's turn (via  CC, or creature damage, etc), will Gravity Well GP the next highest HP creature?

How is gpull target determined if 2 creatures have the same HP, which is also the highest?

This shield triggers when the owner is about to take damage from a source that could be redirected by GP.
So, that would mean that if a GP'd creature gets killed on your opponent's turn and then another attack would hit you, this shield would trigger.
Like bonewall, it would disappear once its last counter is consumed.
Unlike bonewall, it has no way to replenish counters.

If two creatures have equal HP I think a reasonable default would be to apply to the creature in the highest priority slot. E.g. First in last out with respect to play order.
Alternatively, it could just be random. But I somewhat like the play order based selection better since it would foster a bit of strategy when using this with rage-armagios, accelerate etc.
This is a good point for further discussion I think.

Definitely agree with play order, as in lower creature slot # gets targetted first.

Its good that Gravity Well helps to improve the usage of the hp of all the creatures.
Although there isn't a lot of high hp creatures around to make Gravity Well powerful enough.
And for +hp spells, it still is better to just use Armagio which have the gravity shield as its cheap.

You wrote Micro Gravity Wall on the upgraded card. Is that a typo?

Yes... although I actually kind of like Gravity Wall too, since that would clue people in that it functions similarly to bonewall...

decisions decisions... will fix it when I get back to a laptop...

Or simply name the unupgraded one Gravity Well and the upgraded one as simply Gravity Wall:D
