NOTES:
If you can guess my inspiration, shout out to fellow anime fans.

Target creature is divided randomly into either 2, 3, or 4 pieces. It's stats are randomly divided amongst those pieces.

While in "shambles" the creature uses the doll picture to symbolize it's pieces. The core piece is any piece attached to the torso. The other pieces pay quanta to "reattach" to the core.

The turn after it was turned into shambles any pieces that couldn't attach die. Then the "core" transforms back into the creature it was, minus the stats of lost pieces.

To clarify, you can target and kill or delay pieces to prevent reattachment. If you kill the core all the pieces die next turn. Also, while divided the pieces do attack, so this doesn't stop any damage done by the creature if you fail to destroy pieces.

The only slight issue I've encountered is what happens after a RT. Perhaps it just returns?

Incase you were curious about uses
1) Delay a creature skill for 1 turn
2) Kill a creature that had stats too high for your CC by killing the Core (If you lucky that it has low hp)
2b) Or kill the part that has the most attack.
3) It's also Quanta Control since they have to pay to put humpty dumpty back together again.

... So what happens if you use this on, say, a 1|1 creature and it turns into four pieces? Do half of them end up with 0|0 and die?

When complete, does the creature get the skill it had or its statuses back?
What happens if one of the pieces is targeted by Fractal, TU, or Mitosis?

Good questions. When the core reverts it become the original creature, so skills should come back. Also, you made me think about status... maybe the statuses could be distributed randomly with the stats.

Fractal, TU, and Mitosis... these pieces aren't technically creatures so much as part of the spell. So maybe they can't be targeted by such spells. The Shambles spell probably shouldn't be able to target a piece of a creature already in shambles either.

EDIT: Actually Fractaling it gives you a hand of creatures that when you play are 0|0. Mitosis will allow you to copy the targeted piece, but the automatic death is a passive effect, so the Piece with Mitosis dies anyways, and the generated Piece dies too. TU would create a piece that didn't have a Core to return to, so it'd die... unless you targeted a Core, then it'd possibly just revert to that creature with missing stats.

... So what happens if you use this on, say, a 1|1 creature and it turns into four pieces? Do half of them end up with 0|0 and die?
The maximum number of pieces would be dependant on the stats. So a 1|1 creature would just be split into 1|0 and 0|1.
EDIT: But then what's the point of targeting a 1|1 creature?

If you target a spark, does it split into 2|0 and 1|0, or is a 1|1 piece possible?

Can't target.

No a spark can't have a 1|1 piece if it doesn't have any health.
Since this card in it's current form is 99% meant for targeting opponents creatures, I'd have to ask you why you targeted your own spark, since that's the only way you could have targeted one.

Just wondering about the mechanics of a card with 0 in one stat.

nice idea, what happens if one of the parts is returned to your hand and you then play it?, will it be 0/0?, will it keep it's stats?

@ iskelion It'll play out as a 0|0 creature

I know it's complicated to explain, but it's a fairly simple concept.
