I wanted something else to use with nightmare. Although it only really works with SoSac, you can also use it with fractal, and any card that makes you discard if they ever got added to the game.

I'm a bit iffy on the attk/health ratios on them.

Hmm... I think I see where you are going with this... but the wording is going to be tricky I think.

Right now, your wording would imply that you would NOT want to use it with nightmare. Otherwise, the opponent would discard it to gain 15 hp of healing.
It would work quite well with fractal though.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?

No one is gonna use this if the (almost) only use is countering a specific card. Althogh it's an ok mid hitter for Light, I don't really think anyone would use it in a nightmare deck.

Maybe not, but it's an option. It's main use is fractal.

Hmm... I think I see where you're going on that... but the problem is, they could simply wait till SoSac wheres off, pop a dial or dim shield (which many Sac decks have) and then start discarding these to rebuild HP while they wait to find their next shard.
Also, some SoSac decks make use of light quanta... so giving them a nice creature to use against you may not be the best idea.

One odd idea I had on this though... What if you have the ability heal the player with the lowest HP.
After popping the shard, the opponent would likely have the lowest HP, making them vulnerable to this. All you would have to do is fractal this and then discard it.
Works against SoSac much better that way I think. And it will be useful for that whether you spam it with fractal or nightmare, and also sets it apart from other more general purpose heals.

What if it healed when it was killed or discarding, heals the person with least hp, and I adjust the cost and power a little or something. So it can deal more damage than it heals. Otherwise it would be to easy to stop. Just wait until you are about to die then kill them all off and they're screwed.

I do like the idea of having it heal a player when killed or discarded. It would make for an interesting anit-CC card.
Particularly if the healing is high and its hp and cost are low.
Pop a few of these in a RoL hope deck and you would have a nice little safeguard against RoF and Thunderstorm.

It could also be tech for your own otyughs or similar. It would bring more worth to any card that kills your own creatures.
