You should probably reword the description.
Maybe to: Generates :earth :earth :earth for every burrowed creature in your control.

It just sounds more succinct to me ^.^

Yes I have to reword the description, I probably go for something between what you suggest and quanta-producing cards' text:

Each turn  :earth :earth are generated for every burrowed creature in your control.

Does it sound good?

Soulcatcher only activates once per death.
This activates per turn.
This should produce less quanta per instance than soulcatcher because it will have many more instances.
I would suggest :earth + :earth when mine is played.

I like the card concept (generating :earth  based on the number of burrowed creatures) - an interesting idea with a useful niche in earth-based decks.

As OldTrees notes, however, 3 :earth  is a lot of quanta to generate per turn per burrowed creature.  1 :earth  per turn per burrowed creature might well be more balanced.

Another possibility would be a strip mine (as a spell instead of a permanent) which provides the larger amount of quanta from your original idea (3 :earth  per burrowed creature) but only once upon play instead of every turn.

As for the name, diamond seems right for the upped version, but gold seems a bit soft for the unupped version - maybe titanium|diamond as with the earth shield?
