I like the idea of getting power by sacrificing creature life... the only trouble is, :fire really doesn't need another quanta source considering how powerful immolation is in that department... the elements that are really lacking in this area currently are:
 :aether ,  :entropy ,  :gravity ,  :water , and  :time .
entropy and water would probably get the heaviest benefit (dissipation shield and icebolt)
