PS: Did you know that Momentum and Lycanthropy are mutually exclusive as active skills? This would have to be programed with a passive come into play effect that gave it the momentum status.

no i did not, i was unaware they were not compatible.

can you suggest a similar 'it charged or got mad' skill that would work only on itself?
the goal, is to have a pretty good critter with momentum, that cost enough that a charger or pure gravity or a momentum card is a bit easier.
it should have an activation ability that makes it bigger, on par with a dragon but taking longer to get there, and then an upped version slightly better than the lesser rhino that was already in 'big mode' with momentum, a bit more expensive, not too much.

what is a good active ability for the lesser rhino to be compatible with momentum?
i really want these to already exist

A creature can have an Active Skill and the Momentum Status. Just not an Active Skill and the Momentum Skill. The difference is minor and was a warning for your other cards that you should make sure not to have 2 active skills. It does not need to change. You lucked out by choosing Momentum as one of the two such that a slight change (Skill->Status) it would work.

they both would work together just the coding would be slightly different because Momentum would be added moments after the card comes into play. This may become important with cards added in the future but not yet.

ok, so its like something coming into play and getting immortal or burrow.
the upped card doesnt have an active ability, its considered to be already used before it comes into play.

well the original was like 40 quanta for about 3 times as big but yeah, just the upped card has no active skill, its blank so marauders keep Acquire.


The upgraded name won't fit on a card image. Might I suggest just Champion Rhino or Elite Quicksilver Rhino? (the latter fits, but only barely.)

Yeah it is like Graboid's Burrowed nature. That is a great example. (Graboid is the only creature that starts with a status that it does not have the corresponding active skill for.)

Having the active skill on the upgraded gives it the necessary 3 influences to be an other creature of this type. (also it makes it slightly cheaper due to increased weakness) Please trust me that having the upgraded also have active abilities is a good idea.

well, its lycanthropy which goes away after you use it, so ok, either way these are the 'body' of the marauder, momentum and a lot of extra stats, on its own its still pretty beefy, nice heavy hitter for most every deck imaginable, but it should be unweildy, a bit awkward to use , so its not actually in every deck.
