One word:

Sundials.  With sundials+this, you cannot be hit, period.  Nowadays, however, sundials without a shield against things like a Fahrenheit or Eagle Eye leave something to be desired.

I use my Sundials to have a break while building a Bonewail.

This shield is pretty useless due to the weapons doing measly damage, mostly, having their usefulness in abilities.

Then perhaps have the sheild block some creature damage, too.

all this would be good for are decks based around farenheits or helping prevent poisoning (arsenic) otherwise it's a viable idea but  not really that good.

a bit like phase shield and procrastination but different

hm... needs a little tweeking, perhaps blocks 1 damage per turn along with the anti weapon effect, and have it heal you for 2 per turn, and up the cost a little, just to give light a decent shield. all light shields suck, so ya
