I think this could open things up for new ideas and strategies.

other than a minor nightmare, you control what the opponent draws, and a nice anti deck out from me to you, what would this achieve? but as it does next to nothing in my mind, i like the cost.

That Idea targets what is in play, this targets the hand that is the main difference i see.

One thought i had with this is say there is a creature or permanent with a nasty drawback for its controller give away before it can hurt you.

I like the general idea but see no use for the card. For one card + quantum you slow them down by one card. Perhaps you could gift multiple cards at a higher price?

Could someone come up with some ideas that a player would want to give away.

one current card is nightmare
this + nightmare + mindgate is one combo

of course the counter to this is the hour glass

Say your running short on pillars so you use this and then mindgate multiple of them back. Could work with any card.
