Bump

Redid skill cost and still need some feedback on how to balance this since it's part UP and part OP

well, my  :electrum

I wouldnt make it Aether  :aether, it doesnt fit, maybe Life  :life Death  :death or Entropy  :entropy, with Entropy being the best fit.

As for the ability itself, its pretty handy when you think of it, not spectacular, but occasionally useful.

Consider these:
standard
Genesplicer     :entropy
Splice:  :entropy :entropy
1|3

upgraded
Geneticist   :entropy
Splice:  :entropy :entropy
2|5

I thought aether would fit best since rearranging DNA/molecules seems like it would fall under aether but life would work. Idk about entropy since it revolves around chance/chaos. I do like genesplicer better than splicer though I'll change that later

That is a good point i had for gotten about mutate I suppose entropy would be a good choice maybe I'll put up a poll. As for life with entropy cost I think the skill element should mirror the card element simple because if it doesn't your forced to run a trio at least if you want the full potential of the skill.

I just had an idea, what if it targeted cards in hand as well to change what type of quanta they cost, would that make this more useful?

it reduces the usefulness of Shard of Readiness. dont affect skill cost.

It wouldn't effect skill cost it would effect summon cost, so a bone dragon could potentially cost 10 :earth instead of 10 :death.
In other words would expanding the target list to include in hand cards help with the mediocre skill mechanic or would that just make it completely op?

ok I see, it shouldnt affect cards in hand, that is very strong. Consider being able to put any creature in any deck. Eternity in a Darkness or Aether deck etc.
