ART: IDEA: Jyiber NOTES: Genesis Both players have all their active creatures and permanents shuffled into their decks. The quanta costs for each of these are added to their respective pools. Their hand next turn is 7 shuffled cards (kind of like starting hand). Exodus All of your creatures and permanents in hand are played out for the draining of all your quanta in all pools. Your quanta generation and card playing are locked for three turns. I have two problems. 1) The whole effects for both cards are a bit longer than I can fit on the cards so my wording needs some help. 2) Exodus is a wee-bit over powered at the moment, and I would appreciate and advice on tweaking it. Actually, for a start... it sounds more like a 10+ cost card. SERIES:

I do not understand the thematic sense.  Genesis has nothing about starting except it refreshes your quanta.  And Exodus has nothing about an exodus.  I'd actually switch the effects.

Well, Genesis kind of restarts both players (except health). Exodus has most your cards leave your hand.
It looks right to me... but then... I suck at theme stuff.

Agreed. Genesis comes from the greek term γέννηση (gennese), meaning, the birth or creation of something. Exodus comes from the greek term έξοδος (exodos), literally meaning "to leave" or "to exit".
And it is kind of weird that the unupped and upped cards have completely opposite effects, more of an  attribute to me.

Well, the opposite effects being a Entropy thing is debatable... but I'm thinking I should change the names.

For Genesis, you might want to change it to "προς τα πίσω" (Pros ta piso), which literally means, "to rewind" or "start over".
As for Exodus, a nice Anglican term would be "Amass", to summon an assembly.

Yeah, and there's a reason why Fiber Jar is Forbidden. Genesis's mechanic is just...wrong.

That aside, I think the themes fit the cards perfectly.

Yeah, no. Wasn't into any card games, especially Yugioh. But there does seem to be a problem between some people and Genesis (other people think the names don't fit). Based on a comparison between how that game plays and this one... there's a slight difference. With this you get a refund and can play all or most the cards you "restart with" immediately.
