A better term for "horrify" would be "petrify", just saying.

And petrify is already taken by Auburn Nymph, just saying.

Petrify means to scare stiff, and the lack of immobility means it doesn't fit this card.
Horrify works perfectly, because it means the exact same thing (giving nightmares) without the immobilization part.

"+2 atk, 5->7hp and the ability improves as the number of CC attempts increase.
Probably too much of an upgrade."

could increase the cost by 1 and the +2|+2 to +3|+3. the abyss crawler model.  i just wanted the greater horror to feel beefy, like a giant undead rabbit, not just a slightly stronger one.
Crawler does not have an ability that grows as the hp grows. Horror[5hp] < Horror[7hp]
6|7 casting cost with 5|5->7|7 stats would be my suggestion.

Well, moomoose wants a term to be scared to stone. So I think "lapidify" works best.

actually, it wasn't until you brought up petrify as a term that "stone" in any context came up.  was looking for a "im so scared im going to wet the bed if i dream of this tonight" term.  petrify does have a component of fear, but is also very commonly used, as in this very game, to denote being turned to stone.  and while lapidify is a perfectly usable term for such, it isnt a well known word, so uncommon that it comes up as a misspelled word on firefox's spellchecker, and on thesaurus.com it ironically sends you to its 'petrify' web page.

OT- im not sure what you mean, the ability is static, the damage done and health drained by nightmare is the same for both cards and entirely dependent on how many copies are placed into the opponents hand.

Horror is a very appropriate term.

7hp usually requires 2 attempts to kill. This means Horror triggers a minimum of twice when upgraded.
5hp is at the border of 1 to 2 attempts to kill.
The increase from 1.5 to 2 triggerings of Horror is significant.

That is a truly icky beasty. Cool mechanic concept though. Could be a tough cookie for CC heavy decks, but could also backfire on you. I love it...
Too bad its so tricky to declog the opponents hand though. Makes it sort of a 1 shot per turn deal.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
If your zombie plan is

odi brings up a good point OT- if two CCs are used on the same turn, the second will have a lesser effect, possibly no effect (as in the second nightmare will be null) if no cards were used

but i still plan on tinkering with the cost if i change the upped card anyway.  tho its possible i will just change the name of the thread and leave the upped as is because nobody sees the upped cards in the polls anyway.

The second nightmare will drain 2hp in that case. Though it is a good point.

I brought it up because the creature already gets +2atk(normally the maximum upgrade for balanced unupped creatures*), the hp goes up a tier and the ability improves(slightly assuming a skilled opponent**).

*UP unupped creatures sometimes have balanced upped forms due to abnormal upgrades. See Blue Crawler.
**Balance is usually with a skilled opponent in mind.
