Lol, I not only dislike this type of nerfing technique (let's make needlessly complex by making it scale to some ambiguous variable that the user can control by deck-building properly) but am also confused by how a ghost mace somehow gets sharper the more ghosts are nearby.

As everyone has seen, the core mechanic is quanta destruction. What additional features does this need?

also, by non-living, does mechanicals count? (steam engine/armagio/charger)

If everyone agrees with what is considered non-living, I will go with it. Adding all those does make it more versatile.

Destroy rather than scramble quanta may be enough on its own. The buff it receives from a Growing army is not necessary and has higher risks of unbalance.

But I do agree that trying to make it more original by adding a new, original mechanic is a bit excessive.

I believe that a combination of simple, familiar mechanics (the primary mechanic of quanta destruction supported by a mechanic that gives quanta destruction a unique flavor) is enough to show quanta destruction in a new light.
