Anyway, seriously, straight up "both players heal" cards are kinda boring and very difficult to balance.
The trick with cards that help both players is to use things that both players can benefit from, and usually in small amounts.

Healing doesn't benefit both players - why would a rush care too much about healing? If the point of your deck is to deckout, you've just gotten two heals for the cost of 1, just about. No drawback for you, because you're decking out.

I can definitely see a use for this for slow decks that needs a few rounds to get going. It nerfes rushes, sosac and buffs stalls and slow decks. And I think that this surely could have a place in ETg.

Also, stalls don't need any buffs. Seriously.

Compare to Heal.
Heal gives you a net +20 damage difference, for 3|2 quanta and 1 card.
Sympathetic Heal gives you a net 0 damage difference, for 4|3 quanta and 1 card.
Standard Heal is better in any rush situation, Sympathetic Heal is better in some stalls. Also a useful counter to SoSac. Overall, I think that the card lacks the same utility as Heal, but is balanced enough to work.

As others have mentioned, 40 HP heal for both players is a net break even... though It might indeed have use in various stalls.
It can be helpful in other odd situations too though... for instance the turn after your opponent casts miracle, or any other time your opponent is missing fewer than 40 HPs... though the difference needs to exceed 7 HPs to 28 HPs in order to keep pace with the efficiency of "Heal".

I think this might make a more interesting creature or permanent ability than a spell... If this were on a repeatable ability, SoV may end up seeing a new stall niche.
For instance, with 3 of these, you heal both players for more HPs than they have each turn. Then you just have to wait for SoV to whittle down the opponent's maximum health and deal a couple points as a death blow.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
If your zombie plan is
kill -9 `ps l | awk '{print $2" "$3" "$9}' | grep "Z" | awk '{printf("%s ",$2)}'`
You might be a unix junky

I made this already.
This has more heal, lower cost, and a cooler name.

Life/Darkness Voidstall? Count me in! I like it as a creature ability though... perhaps the long-unknown Elf|Druid? *sees new post with Druid|Druid* :P
