since technically (like visible with SoFo and virus) Tomb Raking is destroyed before the target permanent is.

Why is one using a skill cost while the other is a skill cost?
Not saying thats a horrible idea, I just don't see why it fits the card at the moment.

Because I felt like it.
More importantly, I wanted the card to be able to trigger death effects by its own, but I didn't want to give PC. Stuck between these two options, I simply gave death PC upped but forced a death/fire duo unupped.
