I think the idea of a fossil in some sense is cool.

Howeve,r for a pretty hefty price, you don't get nearly the payback of antimatter. Then again your opponent can't counter antimatter if you play fossil. That is about the only factor that makes it worth the hefty price. I guess it could help with EM and maybe to get a butterfly effect played.

Anyhow I think it is a little weak. Maybe change the effect slightly or lower the cost by 1?

This would work really well against creatures with venom

It'd also be handy if your opponent played a  nymph and you had a high attacker out.

But I agree it is a little expensive...

haha~i've had a same idear~more like a atk dot~and when the creatures atk=<0 it turn to a skeleton
why?cos time can cause aging effects  ~donot kill time~time kill you

Looks balanced. I prefer a cheaper slow decrease to 0 attack because that would make the "buffing" use cheaper.

It fossilizes the creature preventing it from being able to attack

Personally I would suggest changing the name of the card to Fossilize instead of just Fossil.
