Forest Knight and Forest Night https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=2575.msg20993#msg20993

It' something like a reversed Scarab. The attack of the Forest Knights is equal to the number of Forest Knights on your side.
You also can use them to heal you, but this kills the forest knight.

Then the Forest Night makes it all a bit stronger, maybe too strong. Probably some balancing is neede.
The Forest Knight can spawn Forest Knights (upgrade spawns Elite Forest Knights)

So you can build a powerfull force of this creatures.

I really think I have to higher the costs. Imagine a Rustler deck that spams the whole Field with this....
Here are the cards:

The concept is not bad, but imagine 6 forest nights on the field. Imba healing and atk. Needs balancing.

The upgraded card is supposed to have black name text, this is a bit hard to read.

The idea is good, there should be a swarm attack creature, and it likely will belong to life, but the healing on these cards is insane, a much better option would be to give it a lesser version of the staff's regenerate, that would heal you for 1 per turn, and upped could go to N/6 or N/5.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

With the elite version of this card, you can you 25 for just 3 life quanta. Make the healing 10/20 and lower their HP to 3 so firestorm would still work.

Reworked the cards, but have some typos in there....

Now the Monster cost is a bit higher (4 :life) and it only heals you 5hp (6 upped).
The upped Version now has a black text.

The unupped will only have the half of attack, what the upped version could have.

And Forest Night can still spam Forest Knights. So you can make heavy damage with that card and also can heal you.

Maybe it should heal only 2hp?

Interesting concept.

So, just to clarify:

Normal:
N/2 - Cost 4 Life Quanta - Sacrifice to heal yourself for 5
Upgraded:
N/3 - Cost 4 Life Quanta - Sacrifice to heal yourself for 6

The normal ones ability wouldn't really work though? If you play 1, then his attack would be 0.5? Does that translate as 1 or 0? Ie. I have 3 in play, would their attack be 1, 2 or 3?

The healing doesn't seem to high (to me at least) since you are sacrificing offense for defense in a way. Will the healing effect be triggered when the Knight dies? Or only when you sacrifice him?

Might be a bit overpowered though - obviously with Shards of Gratitude/Empathic Bonds... One thing though, the cost to summon a Knight from the Forest Night card should be identical to the cost of the card.

Imagine a deck: 6 Upgraded Forest Knights, 6 Forest Nights, 6 Empathic Bonds and 22 Emerald Pillars.

Nice concept though.

It seems alright now, as they have HP low enough to die fastly and not amass.

Still, I wouldn't use the heal thing.

The normal ones will work. All is plus one so when only one is there it will have 1.5 rounded down 1 attack.
Only when you sacrifice the healing, think that's better.

Ok, I will chanche the Forest Night effect cost to 4 :life

The deck could work good, but if your opponent has creature controll like an eagels eye or many rofs, you don't have a really chanche because of the low health. A Firewall could also be mean. Aflatoxin is a killer, too, because you have no space for Knights or Otys will just eat you whole army.
There are many ways to counter this deck, so I think it's not op.

As long as Forest Night can only use it's ability once per turn, I don't really have a big problem with this card.  It's basically Life's answer to creature control.  You have an Eagle's Eye?  Great!  I'll put down a creature that builds every turn, so you have a good reason to deal with it now -- EVERY TURN.  Keep that EE busy so's I can put down my Jade Dragons over here.

Still easily handlable with a little permanent control.

Me gusta.
