The spell-creatures deal spell damage and can be reflected by spell-countering shields. Ice bolt, fire bolt and drain life retain ability to increase damage when you have more quanta. Drain life gains Vampire skill. Ice bolt may freeze weapon and shock-wave can shatter frozen weapon. Version 2.0 : 1. One turn delay before you can play a spell-creature and Fractal it. Opponent may play a target-damaging spell to neutralize the effect of this card, or he can simply put up a mirror shield. 2. I edited the note section for clarification. Only 5 spells can be affected by this card. Tell me if I'm missing something.

So if this is on the board and I have 52 , and I play a fire lance, it becomes a 15|0 creature? I am really unsure about the balance because of all the combos that would be pulled off. Fractal fire lance, blessed firelances...etc.

Perhaps. Flying fahrens require a fahren and AW for each one you send out, while flying fire lances requires only a fractal and this. And enough fire quanta.

EDIT: With fractal fire lance, it's basically infinite fire lances. Just as a side note, with infinite fire lances, you only need 21 to instantly OTK a 100hp opponent and 31 to OTK a 200hp one.

So this changes a spell into a creature? I'm not certain that is possible given the thematic nature of spells, they only exist for brief moment. Now if this generated a creature when a spell was detected, that would be more allowed.

Actually, I think this would work.  With the energy provided with this card, it takes the energy of the spell and forces it into the form of a creature for a fleeting moment [0 HP].  However, I see no point to this unless you have the buffs to maintain said creature.

This is a cool idea. I can definitely see myself using this if it were in game. Also, a minor text nitpick - change "When" to "While"

Quick fix: Make the actual creature card something, for example if "Burst" then change the text to say "become Bursts of N | 0." Then, have the actual creature card be a 0 | 0 creature (not the spell).

So if if i have this and 70 fire, if i fractal i'll have a 24|0, 3x 21|0 and 4x 18|0, for only 9  ? OMG
