Hi,
this idea is about a small airborne water creature. I did think about the ability that the upped card should gain like other small creatures. But when I thought about Dive, I thought that it would fun to have a cheap, little diver.

Why I should make it stronger? It has a good stats for 1 :water and a good ability.  :o

I dont really see the point of using 2 air quanta for 2 extra damage every turn (not what I call cheap).

I dont really see the point of using 2 air quanta for 2 extra damage every turn (not what I call cheap).
I just want to make sure that it won't be overused with blessing. But I just looked and Pegasus ability only costs 1 :air and when Light gets a cheaper version, this card should get it too.

edit: ok, i reduced the ability cost to 1 :air

Even then a :water/ :air dual deck has no stat raising cards and 2 quanta (1 :water + 1 :air) would be ok for a 2|1 creature, but in that case might as well stick with Ash Eaters. And that's not even considering the fact that if you keep using the ability its worth goes lower and lower exponentially.

I would suggest you just let it fly for free. After all, Flying Fish don't really fly, they sort of jump and while it probably takes them energy, it has to do more with the momentum they pick up from the water.

OO, or just let it stay as you have it, but when given the status "momentum", ability cost becomes 0. lol  xD

And I personally wouldn't worry about it getting abused with Blessing, because Wyrms and Pegasii pull that one off much more effectively.

not really that useful... who's going to dive a 1/1 (or 2/1) creature for damage? if you're worried about blessings/chaos power/ whatever other buff...they would require a trio, which is not very efficient atm so I wouldnt worry about that...

Instead, I would make them like Brimstone Eater, Gnome Gemfinder, and Damselfy (generates 1 :water quanta per turn when upped)

My worries about the use of blessing isn't important anymore because i thought that Pegasus needs 2 :air to Dive. But as it only cost 1 :air, this problem doesn't exist.

@anothebrother: I would prefer to go a different way as quantum production. And I don't see where this would make the card more useful.

@hyroen: I thought about Momentum, too. But I didn't go with it as real flying fishs can be easily stopped by walls or other things. A free Dive could be a way but that would bring back the isue with Blessing.

Ok, I think about possible alternatives for the ability.  :-X

Real anythings in the game are stopped by walls too, but Momentum doesn't care :P

And I don't think you should worry too much, :water/ :light dual decks aren't that common.
