meh, just seems like another fire shield that can stack and gets to momentum creatures and creatures with no attack, only downside to it is the absorbtion rate, make it not stack and i think it will be better

Why have both this and Fire Shield in the game?

And that it affects your own creatures...

Why have both this and Fire Shield in the game?
Completely different cards. Fire Shield affects only the opponent. Plus, I've decided to overlook my phase shield vendetta to look at a more pressing concern. AI3 sucks, why? Well, because it has 40 cards and no drawing power, of course, but should rushes really be able to pummel ai3 before it even plays a creature? Either rushes need to be nerfed, or ai3 needs more control cards. And subsequently, this game needs more control.

I made this double-edged sword in fire because fire is the first thing you think of (besides air) when you think of excessive cc and it also has cheap deflags, which allows it to destroy this if in a mono if it doesn't like what it's doing. In addition, the optimal way to use this card is to not have any creatures, and the element with the (arguably) best damage spell is fire.

Plus, as you know, I love phoenix, but it always gets overshadowed by minor phoenix. Phoenix gains 7 atk from :fire, and minor phoenix gains 4 attack from :fire. To create more synergy with my favorite card, I'll make the ability affect all creatures.

I don't understand. This will most likely destroy the middle row, meaning barely any creatures will be summoned in the top or bottom row, because the middle row is almost always empty. How would flooding work, in the occasion that this card is used?

Good reason. Fire is indeed the best Element for a double-edged environmental effect. It has good synergy with both Golem and Phoenix which each can cheat the effect. I think limiting it by preventing it from stacking would be wise.

Look at the notes for the details of the new version.

Upped...OP?
Decreasing Full HP...OP?
Discuss.

I personally think that the damage should be recoverable. When I think of Full HP decrease I think of broken bones from Earth not burns from Fire.

I think the upgraded would require a cost increase and may then be too strong/expensive. Maybe just a cost decrease for the upgrade?

Meh, I liked the idea of Full HP decreasing because being burned leaves scars, but...

Maybe a drain increase for the upped versions? I like the idea of being able to do just as much damage as golems grow, but I do agree that it might be too much considering that having 6 firestorms is 3 damge for 5 :fire each is already pretty bad. If 3 :fire drain per 2 damage isn't good enough, then i'll change it to 3 :fire cost, 1 dmg 1 :fire drain

Increasing the drain and damage for the upped would work maybe even just an Absorb :fire :fire
PS the correct term is Absorb like Flooding
