Fire Storm costs 5
, and deals 3 damage to EVERY enemy creature. You are losing 3 damages on all creatures except those adjacent, 1 damage on those adjacent and the risk of hurting your creatures in exchange for... 2 more damages on the main target? Isn't it a bit... UP?
I would make this cost 4
|3
, if not even 3|2. The uncommon area targeting, along with the placing rules, means that if you play this instead of Fire Storm:
- when opponent has 1 creature, you gain 2 damages (but Lightning does the same for much less...)
- when opponent has 2/3 creatures, you lose 1 to 4 damages
- when opponent has 4/7 creatures, you lose 5 to 12 damages (and possibly more, depending on whom you do target)
- when opponent has 8/12 creatures, you lose 13 to 25 damages
- when opponent has 13/17 creatures, you lose 26 to 38 damages
- when opponent has 18/23 creatures, you lose up to 56 damages
This cannot compare. Not counting that, except for the creature in the middle, you are dealing even LESS damage per target.
